Well, Tessa McWatt's memoir is absolutely outstanding. I knew long before I finished the book that it will be one I need to read again. Her prose is so luscious, and a poetic memoir is rare. Even more extraordinary, is the way McWatt's powerful voice shines through on each and every page. If you enjoy stories of genealogy, identity, and embodiment, then this book is for you!
