Add a CommentThis was my first Jane Hawk novel, and I am hooked!
Going back to read the entire series from the beginning!!
A thrill ride from start to finish.
typical DK book, ending leaves you hanging and open for a sequel. too many unanswered questions for my tastes, very similar to the Frankenstein book, (I didn't like the way that ended either).
First book was very good. Had a good story and premise. However, it is time for him to end this series, it's just dragging on too long.
Book 3 in the Jane Hawk vs nano technology. Book 4 will be The Night Window
This was by far the best in the Jane Hawk series, I was fascinated and horrified with the idea of nanomachines & corrupt powerful people in #1-The Silent Corner. Then disappointed with #3-The Crooked Staircase but needed to know what happened to little Travis. I can't wait for #5!
I loved this book, and the series is great. Koontz is back with his conspiracy tale of FBI agent Jane Hawk. Hawk is a fugitive from the shadow Arcadians government. Koontz has always taken on bioethical radicals, and elitist eugenics radicals who want to tell the population how to live in his stories. He not disappoint in this book. Like Odd Thomas series, Jane is busy fighting evil. A main theme in his books is you cannot compromise with evil, and Jane Hawk is all about rooting out evil , and stamping it out. I look forward to the next book in this series.
