First time I read a novel by Karen Rose, and might be my last. The book's prologue set the stage for a suspenseful crime drama - the "hook". Little did I know a secondary storyline would almost totally overshadow what I thought was going to be an exciting read. Was it really necessary to record each character's movements (much of which were uneventful) every 15 minutes? I struggled to finish the book, but finish it I did!
A book you can't put down. Lots of action.
OK, I'm used to Karen Rose books being way better than this. The mystery wasn't very mysterious and the relationship component was rehashed over and over again to the point where I was just skipping these parts.
