This is a warm meandering Christmas story by Charles Dickens, with stories within the story. A listening treat for adults in the holiday season or almost any time of year. Full of wonderful Dickensian words, phrases, and irony. A favorite word dolorous appears, with a line of great truth and love for Americans, who are over-friendly, but warm, kindly, generous and warm hearted according to him. Many listeners have encouraged us to do more short stories rather than novels because they can listen to them in a walk, car ride, or at home in less than 90 minutes, and often less than 45. An American voice was used due to reader request.
