A gripping military thriller. The writer gives a whole new appreciation of the largely unsung heroes of the air... military transport pilots and flight crew. The author, who is a member of the American Air National Guard who has served in several theatres of conflict, paints a vivid and believable picture of the challenges facing these service people. The scenario is a bit over-the-top, almost like a training scenario or war game, but serves its purpose in underlining the incredible skill, leadership and determination possessed by the best in this branch of the service
