I've finally read my first SEP book and it was a good one. I can definitely understand the love for this author. To be honest, the story started a little slow for me as it meandered around multiple characters and their relationship to the main female protagonist. Once it picked up, I was completely invested. The last 25% were some of the most entertaining chapters of the entire book.

While I would definitely recommend the story, I wouldn't personally recommend the audio. The narrator's voice, inflections, and accent were all wrong for the book hero. She made him sound 30 years older than the heroine rather than his 37 years and not at all British. I switched to strictly reading and enjoyed the story much more.

I appreciated this book because of the levity and the witty sarcasm.
I sometimes believe authors write more information about characters than what we care to know. In that sense, I thought the story was slow moving because of character details.
All in all, it was a decent read.

another great book by this author. Great chemistry between all the characters!

Not entirely believable, but such a fun read. The dialogue is amazingly snappy--Phillips is great at comedic writing.
